Pile of Penguins Card By Mariana

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Mariana has made a very cute card using The Laurence Collection clear stamp "A Pile of Penguins". She has even made her own icicles using glossy accents & glitter.
She's such a clever girl!

Products Used:
Cardstock:  White, Sky & Copic Blending Cardstock
Glitter
Ranger Stickles Star Dust
Stamps: Laurence Collection clear stamp - A Pile of Penguins
Hero Arts Sparkle Gems Holiday Messages
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Broken China
YR15,B32,B24,V04,V15
Copic Multiliner:  0.05 Black
Here are Mariana's Instructions:
Icicles....
To make the icicles you will need some baking paper.
Onto the baking paper draw lines looking like ice with Glossy Accents then add fine glitter, shake off excess and leave to dry, preferably over night, then when dry remove from the baking paper (do not try and dry with heat tool.)
Use Glossy Accents to adhere the icicles to the cardstock.
Snow....
I have just cut some white card stock to make it look like snow mounds & used distress ink around the edges
Then added Star Dust stickles to make the snow gleam, then layered the pieces of cardstock.
Penguins....
Colour in with Copics, add stickles for fur or (you can use flower soft for the fur but I would add that after glossy accents ) then add glossy accents to the black parts of  the penguins to give them a bit of dimension then pop them up on some foam dots.
Tree....
Cut out of chipboard with a template and add paper to tree, add some bling ,add greeting and you are done!

SILHOUETTE DOWNLOAD CARDS - DISCONTINUED

Important News just received from Silhouette:

Notice of Download Card Discontinuance
It's been an entire year now since Silhouette America was born and separated from QuicKutz, Inc. We've been growing at a tremendous rate and are excited for some new upcoming products, partnerships, and promotions. As a natural part of our growth it's time to discontinue the Silhouette download cards created under the QuicKutz brand prior to October 2009.

If you have a download card with a QuicKutz logo on it, be sure to apply it to your account balance in the Silhouette Online Store by December 31, 2010. If not applied to an account, these cards will no longer be valid after December 31, 2010. Once your card is applied to your account the credits will remain there until you decide to use them and will NOT expire at the end of the year.. All other Silhouette download cards will continue to be valid. Only those with the QuicKutz logo will be discontinued on this date.

How to Use a Download Card

If you have a download card and you're not sure how to apply it to your account balance, follow these simple steps:
1.    Run the Silhouette software (Silhouette Studio™ or ROBO Master)
2.    With a new document open, click the Online Store (or Purchase Online) button in the toolbar on the left
3.    Sign in to the Silhouette Online Store by creating a new free account, or using your existing username and password
