"Poinsettia Ornament" Card by Sue W.

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal  Sue W. has created a lovely Christmas card to share today.  Love the red & aqua together, so pretty & a nice change from traditional Christmas colours.
I hope you enjoy it.


PRODUCTS USED:
Paper: SmoothWhite Card, Sea Mist Card.
Stamps:   Heartfelt Creations: Poinsettia Spray and Petite Poinsettia.
Ink :          Memento tuxedo black, Ranger Distress Ink: Tattered RoseVersamark .

TUTORIAL:
Sue used Zip Dry glue unless stated otherwise. 
1.     1. Print Framed Flowers and Dots Mini dsp from the Crafty Secrets CD to smooth white card.  From the framed flowers dsp  cut a 4.25 x 4.75" length
2.     2. Trim smooth white card to 4.25 x 5.5 and adhere the framed flowers dsp from the bottom towards the top (so that white card shows through the die cuts).
3.     3. Trim Sea Mist card to make a 4.25 x 5.5 inch top fold card.
4.     4. Open up the card and  using the Edgeabilities Classic Ric Rac edge only and Insert 1, die cut and emboss the top 1inch of card front.
5.     5. Trim around the scallops on dots mini dsp and adhere to card front. Matt a layer of dots mini dsp to smooth white card that has been sponged with tattered rose distress ink . Adhere to card front over the scallops.
6.     6. Adhere this completed section under the die cut Sea Mist card.
7.     7. Stamp the Poinsettia Spray in tuxedo black ink and cut using matching Heirloom Ornaments die. Sponge the edges with tattered rose distress inks.  Colour with Copic markers.
8.     8. Stamp the ornament top a second time in VersaMark and emboss with gold e.p.  Cut out and adhere over ornament. Tie a bow in cotton twine and adhere using dries clear adhesive.
9.     9. Stamp the two smallest Poinsettias from Petite Poinsettia. Using the matching dies cut and emboss. Colour these with Copic markers.
10  10.Assemble the Poinsettia using dries clear adhesive. The top layer has a small piece of adhesive foam to pop it up.  Add some Gold stickles for the centre and to embellish.
11    11.Add the completed ornament to the card front using an adhesive foam tab.

"Baby Girl" Card by Therese

Hi Everyone
Our DT Gal  Therese has created a very sweet card to share today. 
I hope you enjoy it.


PRODUCTS USED:
Ink:                 VersaMark, Memento - Tuxedo Black, Rose Bud.

TUTORIAL :

1.       Fold a white card base 210mm X 150mm in half. 
2.      Cut a white panel 55mm X 95mm.  Die cut the largest cloud die and sponge sky blue chalk to create the sky.  I always work from the top downwards.
3.      Use the Multiliner to draw the ‘line’ and ‘pegs’.  Then stamp the sentiment along the lower edge in the black and pink as shown.
4.      Using the plain pink design paper stamp the grid in pink and emboss the dots in white.  Die cut 2 infant bodysuits in each as well as 1 in the patterned pink paper.  Attach these to the ‘line’ using foam dimensionals.
5.      Mount this onto plain pink design paper cut 65mm x 105mm using double-sided tape.  Finally, attach this to the card front with foam dimensionals.

"Family" Layout by Narelle

Hi Everyone
Our DT Gal  Narelle has created a really lovely layout to share today. 
I hope you enjoy it.  Aren't these Lost & Found 2 Collections just beautiful!


PRODUCTS USED:
Tim Holtz Distress Ink  “Tea Dye”  
Fiskars Border Punch Apron Lace  

TUTORIAL:
1.         Cut out the journaling/floral block from the Rosy “Remember- Lovely” paper.
2.        Trim a strip of the green glittered border of the Rosy “Remember” paper to measure 2cm x 27cm.
3.        Adhere a strip of the Rosy “Remember” lace to the back of the green glittered strip.
4.        From the Rosy “Best of Friends - Celebrate” paper, cut along the top green glitter scallop strip, leaving yourself with the black and white stripes with scalloped edge..  Trim the black and white stripes to be 4cm high.
5.        Trim a cream piece from the same paper, 3cm x 27cm and border punch using the Fiskars Apron Lace punch.
6.        From the reverse side of the remaining “Best of friends- Celebrate” paper, cut a rectangle 24cm x 20cm, ink edges.
7.        From the Rosy “Ordinary - Dreams” paper, cut a striped piece 24cm x 20cm and ink edges.
8.       Ink edges of entire sheet of Rosy “Love - stamped” paper.
9.        Adhere the Red “Ordinary Dreams” striped panel to the black “Best of friends- Celebrate” panel.  Stick to the layout in the centre of the page, 3.5cm from the top edge.
10.    Adhere the border punch 4cm up from the base on the left edge.
11.     Adhere the black striped panel 5cm up from the base.
12.    Add the green glitter and lace piece on the right side of the layout, 11cm from the base.
13.    Add the journal block to the left side, overlapping the panels.
14.    Add a 5x7 photo, a title and some pearls to the flowers for an extra touch!

"Just Saying Hi" card by Therese

Hi Everyone
Our DT Gal Therese has created a cute card to share today.

Products Used:
Stamps:            Hero Arts - Envelope Pattern,  

Tutorial:

  1. Fold a white card base 210mm x 135mm in half, round the upper right and lower left corners.  Stamp Envelope Pattern on the card front and blend the edges with Tumbled Glass and Broken China.
  2. Cut a thin strip of the design paper for the flower stem and adhere as shown to the card front using liquid glue.
  3. Diecut three flowers from the chosen design papers and swipe the edges with the Memento inks.   Pierce and sew a button to the front of each. 
  4. Attach these to the card front using double sided tape and foam dimensionals.   Freehand cut three matching leaves and adhere with a glue dot.
  5. To create the sentiment panel cut cardstock 18mm x 80mm.  Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black, and then draw a line along the edge with the multiliner.  Swipe the edges with Tumbled Glass and attach to the lower portion of the card front using foam dimensionals.
  6. Finally, punch the butterflies and apply as shown using a glue dot.

" Rose Creations" Card by Sue K

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Sue has created a beautiful card to share today.
I hope you enjoy it. Don't those Spellbinders "Rose Creations" dies just make fantastic roses
 

PRODUCTS USED:
Cardstock: Smooth White
Accessories:  Spellbinders- Shapeabilites- Rose Creations, MFT die-namics Solid Bracket border (still Sue's favourite !),  WE R Memory Keepers- Corner Chomper, Flourish with a bling- Jack'Green',  Sew easy floss- Black/Grey collection, Mini Rhinestones, Hug Snug Chalk white seam binding, 
TUTORIAL:
Cut smooth white cardstock, 105mm x 150mm, the yellow dotted Echo Park paper 65mm x 150mm.
Cut a border from the orange stripe Echo Park Paper, using the Solid bracket border die.
Adhere the Echo Park papers to the smooth white CS using double sided tape
Attach the ‘Flourish with a bling vine’
Add a strip of double sided tape near the bottom left of the card front, scrunch some seam binding.
Make 3 roses using this Rose tutorial placing strands of white floss in the centre of each.

Attach each of the roses with foam tape.
Using the Bow Easy, make a bow from seam binding, secure partially under the largest rose using double sided tape.
Finish off with some mini rhinestones.
Attach to a white card base, round the bottom right hand corner & you are done!
