'Butterfly Frame' By Steph Comer

Hi Everyone,
We have a new Guest Designer today, Steph Comer sharing her beautiful Butterfly Frame with you.
I hope you enjoy it. Steph said these decorated frames are quite expensive to buy but so easy to make yourself.
She made this as a Christening Gift for her little neice Laura.

Tutorial:
Suits 12 x 12 Shadowbox Frame (these frames are nice & deep (approx 11mm) allowing the butterfly wings to sit up nicely.
1.    Adhere 2 sheets of white cardstock together to make a solid base.
2.    Die cut 20 butterflies using Cheery Lynn Exotic Butterflies Minis, in a variety of coloured or patterned papers/cardstock.  Use the paper piercer to poke through the little holes on the dies if the butterflies get stuck, also poke out the detail on the wings.
3.    Die cut 20 wings using the Cheery Lynn Butterfly Angel Wings, in coloured or patterned papers stock to compliment your butterflies.
4.    Adhere the butterflies to the wings.
5.    Spray the butterflies with Pearl Glimmer Mist.
6.    Slightly bend each wing on the butterflies along the side of the butterflies body, ready to only apply glue to the body.
7.    Adhere the butterflies to the white cardstock using a small amount of glue on the body of the butterfly (ensure they are evenly spaced).
8.    Using the Silhouette machine, cut out 3 copies of the name using desired font.
9.    Adhere 3 of each letter together, which makes the letters sturdier.
10.    Adhere letters using foam mounting tape (ensure they are evenly spaced) - using your negative from the Silhouette cut out helps with even placement,
11.    Finally, place layout in shadowbox frame & you are done!
