'Friend Card' by Therese

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Therese has made a pretty floral card to share today. I hope you enjoy it.

TUTORIAL:
1.    Fold a vanilla card base (smooth side) cut 210mm X 150mm in half.
2.    Cut vanilla cardstock 95mm X 135mm.  Stamp the sentiment in the lower right corner using Rich Cocoa.  Stamp the bird in Rhubarb Stalk so that it is sitting on the sentiment (to help position the bird use a Stamp-a-ma-jig).  Colour the bird centre with Copic G40.
3.    Attach this panel to the card front using foam dimensionals.
4.    Die cut flowers in a variety of papers from the Cosmo Cricket Social Club Mini Deck Paper Pad.  Use the blending tool to add Iced Spruce & Evergreen Bough ink to the edges of the petals.
5.    Thread the buttons with Coton Perle and attach these to the flower centres with Glue Dots.
6.    Die cut two Leafy Flourishes (you will need to cut these to fit).  Then adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using foam dimensionals and Glue Dots as shown.

MATERIALS:
Other Accessories: Copic Marker G40.  DMC Coton Perle Thread.  Buttons.

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Sue has created a super sweet card to share with you today. I hope you enjoy it.

TUTORIAL:
Cut Xpress it blending cardstock 140mm x 140mm

Cut 3 strips (each measuring 140mm x 40mm) of paper from the Life of the party 6” X 6” paper pad, attach to the white using the tape glider gun.

Wrap a length of twine around the card and tie off in a bow.  Cut two addition 15cm lengths of twine, tie two bows on top of the first, trim the ends

Layer onto  Cherry cardstock, 145mm x 145mm

Add to a card base 145mm x 145mm

Stamp the image onto Xpress it blending cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink.  Colour with Copic markers, cut out using the Grand Nestabilites oval dies, I have used the smallest.

Layer onto a cherry oval the next size up from the white oval.

Cut a tab from Xpress it blending cardstock, Stamp with ‘Birthday Girl’ using Memento ‘Lady Bug’ ink

Add the ovals and the tab to the card using foam dots.

Cut flowers from paper pad, add to the card using foam dots.

Take 2 small foam dots and wind around some twine, press to make sure it had stuck to the dot.  Secure the end with a small amount of glue.  Add to the centre of the flowers.

Colour some Rhinestones with R29 copic marker, add to the left of the oval.

Lastly add stickles to the centre of the wings and dimensional magic to her eyes.

All done!!
